note: I currently use 100% polyester sewing thread as I haven’t found a natural alternative that holds up with normal wear & tear. Optimally I would use biodegradable thread made from a natural fiber, but have not yet found one that holds up, or possibly recycled polyester thread. I’ve reflected deeply about this choice, but ultimately I believe durability is important here, and will continue to use polyester thread until I find a better alternative.
