The Story of   

It all began with , initially formulated by an artisanal soap and balm maker for her own tattoo care. 

When a tattoo artist and a skin care formulator get together for long sessions, it's no surprise what they talk about: skin care, skin art and care of skin art.  

The dialog continued, and    formulations were refined and tested on the tattoos of loved ones, friends and tattoo professionals ... but never on animals. 

Each formulation was gradually offered to tattoo clients to test, and then to purchase. Through communication, diligence and refinement, each has received a resounding welcome.

The line is the result: natural plant-based tattoo care with botanicals known for their soothing, healing, nourishing and protective properties--and without parabens,  paraffins, petrolatum, alcohols, animal products or artificial colorants. 

Now tattoo professionals can offer tattoo after-care developed with, and tested on, tattoo professionals that that won't damage skin, impede cleansing, slow healing, clog pores, outrage vegan sensibilities or continue our over-dependence on petroleum.

products are hand-crafted with formulations measured to the gram, packaged and sealed by hand, with ingredients fully disclosed.

The line is available only through tattoo professionals, with respect for their importance in providing education and information on care of their art.

printed on recycled-content paper, waste is
minimized, ingredient packaging is recycled.  
We sort, recycle, and compost scrupulously.
99% of our retail and workshop furnishings 
are salvaged or re-used. Fixtures and most
appliances are high-efficiency or hand-powered.
